The Power of Words

Words are one of the ways we direct attention. A phrase can pass unnoticed, or it can make someone stop, reconsider, and feel genuinely seen. That is why language deserves the same care we bring to drawing or design: slow down, observe what is actually there, and choose what matters.
Learning to see is a practice of attention and curiosity. The same is true of listening. Before reaching for the obvious response, we can ask one more question: What am I missing? Sometimes that single act changes the entire conversation.
Over time, the words we repeat become part of the atmosphere around us. They shape confidence, memory, family stories, and the way people understand their place in the world. Attention practiced over a lifetime can become wisdom; language is one of the ways we pass that wisdom forward.
